It's never easy to grow. Throughout this journey I will be stretched, I will grow, and it won't always be the most joyful thing, it will be painful. Growing pains are not called pains for nothing. They're growing pains because it is going to hurt. It is painful to grow but it is necessary. God is growing me by having me step out in faith to tell people about the passion God has placed on my heart and finding a group of people who will partner with me and support me through prayer and financial means. It is not easy but it is humbling and eye opening to see Gods hand at work. He has called me to Berlin and He will make a way. Nothing in my life has been an accident. It has all been a strategic move on Gods part, from the people in my life to the people I will meet tomorrow or where I have worked before. Through raising support and partnering with people I see how God has orchestrated it all, it is incredible! Sometimes I just want to give up, it's too difficult, it's uncomfortable, but God turns around and shows me it's all worth it. I was able to talk to people while waiting for the truck to arrive so we could serve people at the food pantry. I reconnected with someone I hadn't talked to in a while and she was happy for me and wanted to support me. Never in my life would I have forseen that. It's like a high ropes course where everything seems daunting and scary. You're making your way higher and higher, the earth continues to drop out from under your feet and it seems like there is nothing that will stop you from falling to your death below. As you continue to climb it seems impossible but you get a second wind when you had none left. With confidence and determinaton in tact you climb until you stand at the top overlooking the earth below. The pole under your feet shakes but stands firm in the ground. Finally within a minute or two of reaching the top you jump. The wind gets knocked out of you, but you're alive, smiling and ready to climb again.
