Lately I've just been discouraged. It's as if I'm putting together a puzzle with a million tiny pieces, a lot of which are missing. This giant puzzle seems impossible to figure out. The pieces all look the same, I can't figure out which way is up and I end up just staring at it, frozen. Support raising is a bit like that, as is life. It is big and daunting. We think we know what we're looking at when we begin but all of that changes when people don't respond back to your calls, texts or emails. Fear begins to paralyze you, letting discouragement and doubt rush in. It is easy to sit and worry but it doesn't change anything. Giving God control of your puzzle is not easy, but it is the best we can do. When He takes control He is able to see what it was, what it is and what it will be. He knows what pieces go where, which pieces are missing and where they are. It all seems impossible to do until He takes control. There is peace in knowing He's in control. It's not easy but it's worth it. God's in control, even when we don't feel like He is.
