So I'm not quite sure how to sum up the past couple months with a simple blog post. All I can really say is that I'm so incredibly blessed. It's kind of crazy how much God has blessed me. I love my life in Berlin right now. My ministry is perfect for me, I have such a sense of belonging in my church, I have the greatest host family, I always have food to eat and a bed to sleep in. But it's especially crazy when I think about how much He has done for me and how little I do for Him. I mean yes, one could argue that I packed up my life and moved to another country for Him...which I did. But just because I made one radical decision for Christ doesn't mean I'm giving HIm all I should. I love Jesus so much. But sometimes my life just doesn't show it. It's the little things, you know? Like, why do I choose to look at my Instagram or Snapchat first thing in the morning instead of immediately getting into His Word? Or, why do I always say that I'm going to start fasting more but then I never do? Why do I care more about people's opinions of me than about what God thinks? Yes, I know it's all a sanctification process. But I feel like these past few months have highlighted how much I need to seek God in the little moments and thoughts throughout life. Not just the big decisions. I need to put Him first in EVERY part of my life. As Christians, we can't compartmentalize our "Christian life" and our "normal life." It's all one big life and my Creator should be in every nook and cranny of it. :)
Also, above is another picture of my wonderful, beautiful, strong, godly, cohort of whom I am blessed to be living with in Berlin.
