It does not seem so long ago that even getting halfway to the support I needed felt like a nigh-impossible task.
Now, by the grace of God, I am well over halfway and getting close to having the support pledged that I need to go. God has provided in so many beautiful little moments, constantly reminding me of His faithfulness when I am a little too quick to forget. That is not to say it has been easy; I've had to push myself and try to be faithful in the process, and He has been more than faithful in the provision.
I can already see through the process of partnership that my relationships are improving; knowing that God must be a part of every conversation I have about support-raising requires that I am going to Him in prayer often. I try to ask people when I meet with them how I can pray for them, and I've noticed that deepening relationships, too, to where I can ask people about how God is working on those requests. I know people are praying for me, as well, to where things happen in ways or at times that I could not explain but for God's intervention.
I am amazed by His care and His provision, and I pray that the countless moments where He has come through would stick in my mind for the times I am struggling. There have been plenty of moments of doubt, but the Spirit is even then not far.
