I am from Southern Oregon and I just graduated from university with a degree in psychology and minors in cross-cultural studies and theology. I will be working with refugees in the Middle East and I am really excited to build relationships with others, share Christ, learn from those around me.
If I am being honest, the last of couple months have been much more challenging than I anticipated. From dealing with illnesses to being confronted with personal insecurities in this transitional time, it has been a rough few weeks. This is a growing season, and with that comes plenty of discomfort, but I can honestly say that I am very grateful for it. When I look back on the last couple of months, I can see so many ways that the Lord has been working in me and ways that He has so beautifully answered prayers, above and beyond what I asked.

Before I started this support raising process, everyone kept telling me that I would be amazed at the ways the Lord would provide for me and that I would experience great generosity from those around me. To be honest, I didn’t really believe that it would happen for me. I hoped that I could make it out fully funded but I didn’t expect that I would be changed or that God would pull off something incredible for me.
