Robert - Middle East Updates

Class of 2015
Refugee Ministry and Care in Middle East
Track: Compassion - Justice track
Region: Middle East
As a recent graduate of the Pennsylvania State University Schreyer Honors College, I have been praying about one main thing. In Phillipians Pauls states, "If I am to go on living then this will mean fruitful labor for me." My prayer has been, what does faithfully laboring for this fruit tangibly look like in this next season of my life? God calls all of us to share the Gospel the question is where. I am young and have no mortgage or binding responsibilities stateside, I feel that God has laid it on my heart to go to the least reached. Honestly, I am terrified about going but I trust that God will bear fruit through this season.

I love meeting new people, building relationship, and going deep with people. My sense of adventure, willingness to step out of my comfort zone, and burning passion to effectively communicate the Gospel will be critical to this season.

Salvation is received, not achieved. However, communicating that to someone takes relationship, time, and living life together. I cannot wait!

About Me

I grew up in West Chester Pennsylvania as the oldest of 6 children. As an avid white water kayaker, outdoor enthusiast, squash, and ultimate frisbee player, I love the Philly suburbs. I also enjoy, card games like spades, Settlers of Catan, and having deep meaningful conversations with people.

Lord, you provided for Elijah during the drought by commanding the ravens to feed him. Not only that, you provided for those raves as well! I googled local churches. Arriving at New Life Church in Butler PA, I doubted why I was bothering to walk through their doors. It was my job to support raise and I knew no one. Shouldn’t I be on the… Read more >>
