God is Bigger...

...Than the Boogie Man! If you don't get that reference to Veggie Tales.. you really should try to watch an episode. If you don't know what Veggie Tales is, well basically it is a children's cartoon of talking and singing vegetables that tell Bible stories, pretty creative! 

Any ways, I just wanted to update people so that they can know where I am at, what I am up to, and so on. Right now, I am preparing for training and I have homework assignments that I have been working on to help me prepare for it. Yeah, you read that correctly... I have homework! I thought it would end when I graduated too. But this homework has been really helpful, I have been reading interesting books, finding out more about my personality and strengths, and doing some pretty cool research on Ukraine. 

Now you are probably wondering why I started with, "God is bigger than the boogie man." Well, that kind of plays into where I am at spiritually and emotionally. Getting ready to go to a different country is super exciting, but if I am going to be honest with you (which I am) it is slightly scary. In this time though, I am constantly reminding myself that God is bigger than any fear or doubt that I have. 

I was driving home last night and I had my iPod plugged in and "You are My Vision" by Rend Collective came on. I wanted to share that song with all of you today because I am making this song my prayer right now. As I continue to prepare for training and Ukraine, I want God to be my focus, He is always with us and always for us.
