I loved everything about my GoCorps experience. As an MK, I didn't find it any easier than the next person to find solid opportunities for going overseas with a trusted organization. There are a million to choose from and a million options. I loved how GoCorps narrowed down my options for me and gave me good boundaries and coaching to discern where the Lord would lead me. I also thought that GoWeek was so fun and the training for support raising was so helpful and easy to follow. My two years were very challenging to say the least, but I loved the accountability to really go and be servant hearted and learn a lot. The first 2 years were almost all learning. Not learning your gifts and talents as much as learning what your gifts and talents aren't! Without that push from GoCorps I am not sure what I would have done! Your 20s are a gift, a time to really explore and experience everything and eventually you narrow down what your calling is, but until you take that first step (a usually scary and uncomfortable one) you really won't know the amazing things the Lord has in store for you and the lessons to be learned that help grow you!
