Santiago de Compostela, the heart of Galicia and final stop on the Camino, is a city rich in culture, history, and global connection. While known for its spiritual significance, it’s also a vibrant community facing real challenges. Our work centers on helping people reconnect with themselves, the world, and their Creator through community transformation—investing in small businesses, sustainability, and social inclusion to empower lasting local impact.
Strengthen the long-term community transformation of the ministry in Santiago de Compostela, Spain by researching local assets and needs, investigating pressure points in the local society, and producing community-rooted analysis that shapes projects, storytelling, and partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue grant opportunities aligned with community goals, values, and timeline
Write compelling proposals and manage timely, high-quality grant reports for institutional and private funding sources
Collaborate with initiative leads to track quantitative and qualitative program metrics
Design and implement systems for impact measurement and ongoing program evaluation
Conduct participatory research, interviews, survey, and community feedback sessions
Translate findings into actionable insights, donor reports, and strategy recommendations
Contribute to public communications: annual reports, blog stories, donor materials, and case studies
Have or achieve C1 level Spanish, (Gallego classes thereafter)
Some experience in nonprofit development, community research, or social impact evaluation will be helpful but not required
Ability to collaborate across cultures with a learning mindset with strong writing and communication skills
Organized, self-directed, and motivated by justice, dignity, and long-term systems change
