Calling all electrical and mechanical engineering students! Think about the impact an overseas internship with a non-profit will have on your resume. Bring your engineering education to the mission field! Serving at one of our four locations across the globe, you can help ensure that the Good News of Jesus is broadcast to the nations.
Electrical engineering students, you'll serve under the guidance of engineering staff and assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and electrical devices. Help keep the equipment and transmission-related software at our transmitter site in good working order alongside team members with the same heart as you!
Mechanical engineering students will help design and maintain mechanically well-functioning equipment. You may also work to collect and record tower strength data and prepare technical reports that help keep the antennas in good condition. There are plenty of other technical and maintenance tasks at the transmitter sites.
Whether electrical or mechanical, you will learn to be flexible, resourceful, and creative while serving cross-culturally. Be prepared to use your current skills, but to also learn some new ones!

Skills you will learn in this internship: The projects vary from summer to summer. Interns are mechanical or electrical engineering students and will grow in those areas. Interns will also learn about flexibility and creative problem-solving while living on an island. Resources are limited so critical thinking is a must!
