Girls School Teacher

Serve in Uganda: Bring Hope, Equip the Next Generation, and Make Disciples

In the rural villages of eastern Uganda, life is both beautiful and broken. Rolling hills, red dirt paths, and small farms fill the landscape—but so do stories of hardship, lost opportunity, and young girls burdened too early by the weight of poverty, early marriage, and limited education. While Uganda is known for its friendliness and vibrant culture, many in these rural communities live without access to basic education or spiritual guidance. Churches are growing, but biblical discipleship is often shallow, and few reach out specifically to marginalized young women.

Amid this need, God is moving. Through the New Life Ministry Center—home to a local church, preschool, a Bible training school, and the New Life Skills Center—we are witnessing transformation. The New Life Skills Center is a one-year residential program that equips dropout village girls with academic and vocational training, while grounding them in the love and truth of Jesus. Many come to Christ, discover their worth, and are empowered to build a new future for themselves and their families. Some graduates even join outreach teams to perform community dramas and songs that raise awareness about child marriage, abuse, and HIV prevention.

We are looking for a female teacher to join our team and serve as both an educator and a spiritual mentor. You may teach English, Bible, health, art, or life skills, depending on your strengths. More than lessons, you’ll offer presence—someone who listens, encourages, and models Christ. If you have a heart for the overlooked and a desire to see hope take root in forgotten places, we invite you to come and be part of God’s redeeming work among Uganda’s young women!
