ESL Teacher for Youth and Adults

As we greet people on the street, visit them in their homes, and sit with them in cafes, we can see it in their faces. The people of this 99% Muslim country situated on the Mediterranean are looking for hope. Some seek it in Western materialism and entertainment while others look to religious legalism...but an increasing number are seeking the path of Jesus. The time is ripe to see a movement of disciples turning to the Savior. Our team works in a vibrant urban coastal area where there are only a handful of known believers and few churches. We're focused on initiating multiplying movements of Jesus fellowships that transform their communities from within.

Our Kingdom-focused English training and consulting business offers a vital service to local students and businesses, while providing an excellent opportunity to engage people in conversations about life's most significant issues, but we need more teachers to grow our impact! Would you like to get valuable English teaching experience overseas while receiving practical training for ministering to Muslims?

We will help you to thrive cross-culturally as an obedient disciple of Jesus who is passionate for his Kingdom and equip you to foster discipleship movements among Muslims, while providing a supportive environment for you to grow as an English teacher. In addition to teaching, you'll have opportunities to study the Arabic language and learn to initiate Bible studies with locals.

Skills:

A college degree and excellent verbal communication and organizational skills are required. Some English teaching or other tutoring experience is strongly preferred.

ESL certification and prior cross-cultural ministry experience would be very helpful but are not required.
