This region is one of beautiful beaches, mountains, and rich biodiversity. Usually areas like this are full of tourists and tourism businesses. Yet, due to the history and current political situation of the region, it can sometimes still feel 'undiscovered' by the outside world. The region is almost 100% Islamic and the majority of the people here have yet to hear the good news of the Kingdom of God. The region is also among the poorest in our country. The majority of the region's population (77 percent) lives in rural areas, where almost one-third of households live below the poverty line. The impact of poverty is particularly seen in children suffering from acute or chronic malnutrition. In the midst of this context, God is at work! One of the ways this team seeks to bring transformation to the community is through education. We work closely with an English school that teaches English to people from all over the world. Use your skills in teaching English to develop relationships, provide economic empowerment, and share the gospel!


We work closely with an English school that teaches English to people from all over the world. There is a small salary with this position. A degree in Education/teaching, TESOL certification, and 3 years teaching experience are required for this position. This situation is highly cross-cultural and you will be working with people from multiple countries and backgrounds everyday. The need to be flexible and willing to sacrifice for the good of the work and team will be necessary. Previous experience living or working cross culturally, although not required, will be a huge benefit. A passion for prayer, A love for Muslims, Willingness to live in a very hard area
