Elementary Teacher or Administrator

In rural eastern Uganda, education is both a deep need and a powerful opportunity. The landscape is dotted with villages where most children walk long distances to reach school—if they attend at all. Many local teachers lack formal training, mentoring, or support, yet Ugandans are hungry to learn and eager to teach. The spiritual climate is one of openness, but biblical understanding is often shallow. The land is rich with beauty—rolling fields, banana groves, and village life—and the people are warm, welcoming, and spiritually open.
Our team is committed to empowering local educators, developing contextualized curriculum that speaks to the realities of rural Ugandan life, and building learning environments where both knowledge and character grow. We believe that transformation happens not just in the classroom, but through it. As we invest in education, we see students gaining confidence, communities gaining vision, and teachers discovering their God-given potential.

What We're Looking For...
We are seeking committed educators who will come not as experts, but as partners and servants. You'll work closely with Ugandan teachers, staff, and families—walking with others, building trust, and helping create Christ-centered learning environments where both teachers and students can thrive. This is a ministry of presence and partnership, offering opportunities to serve meaningfully and grow spiritually.

You'll be part of a close-knit missionary team living on a shared campus, participating in weekly worship, team dinners, and regular mentorship. Whether your strengths lie in administration, classroom teaching, discipleship, or other ministry areas, you'll find space to invest in lives and be part of what God is doing in this rural Ugandan community.

Available Positions
Position #1: School Administrator & Teacher Development Leader
We are looking for a servant-hearted school administrator who will partner with and coach Ugandan teachers and staff. You'll help strengthen classroom instruction, support teacher development, and collaborate on school systems and curriculum that fit the local context. Your role may include leading professional development, guiding lesson planning, introducing best practices, and encouraging a culture of accountability and grace. This is a ministry of presence and partnership—helping create a Christ-centered learning environment where both teachers and students can thrive. Ideal for: Someone with experience in school leadership, a heart for discipleship, and a desire to see lasting transformation through education.

Position #2: Elementary School Teacher
We are looking for a committed elementary school teacher to serve in our newly established Christian school, working with young learners in a rural Ugandan setting where education is often under-resourced but deeply valued. You'll teach in the classroom, helping shape a nurturing and Christ-centered learning environment while collaborating with Ugandan teachers to adapt lessons to the local context. Your role will include supporting early literacy, foundational math, and Bible teaching, while also contributing to classroom routines, parent engagement, and school culture. This is more than a teaching job—it's a chance to invest in lives at a foundational stage, modeling Christ's love both in and outside the classroom. Ideal for: Someone who is flexible and passionate about helping children flourish through education and discipleship at the elementary level.

Position #3: Homeschool Teacher & Ministry Assistant
This unique role offers the chance to pour into the lives of two or three elementary-aged children in a missionary family serving in full-time ministry. Using a flexible, Christ-centered curriculum, you'll guide their academic growth in the mornings, encouraging their faith and supporting the rhythms of family life on the field. In the afternoons, you'll have the opportunity to step into hands-on ministry—discipling high school girls, assisting with Bible clubs, mentoring preschool staff at our nursery school, or exploring other ministry opportunities that align with your skills and calling. Whether your strengths lie in music, health, teaching, or relational discipleship, you'll find space to serve meaningfully. Ideal for: Someone who loves children, values flexibility, and desires to be part of equipping the next generation while strengthening missionary families and advancing the gospel.
