Church Planter and Ministry Catalyst

Our environment is a beautiful place with vibrant color and incredible sensory experiences in the foothills of the Himalayas. We live in one of the most economically underprivileged regions, where a confluence of different religions, economic backgrounds and class make up this diverse and complex environment. 

Our team has deep partnerships with locals in a variety of veins of ministry, including education, empowering locals and youth and business startups. We have the cultural know-how and ongoing relationships, and are looking for more teammates to help execute new ideas to impact lives. 

We currently have a house fellowship where we invite others to join and learn about Christ without denying their local culture and family background. The trend otherwise, is to attend a Westernized fellowship. We are wanting to expand out into the community and build more relationships with Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists. We need a servant hearted person who wants to be involved in ministry and help us get to know more people and invite them into our fellowship.

This role also includes learning about indigenous worship forms and deep cultural understanding There are currently 2 families in the city looking for teammates to promote and encourage local expression of South Asian art and music. We invite creatives to help us preserve the culture and language of the local people through music. This could be through:

- cultivating friendships with Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists in our community
- assisting local partners with content creation of storytelling in their own language
- learning local classical music and worship forms.

We will provide pre-field and on-field training for you. We just need a willing person with a love for people who wants to learn and see people come to know Jesus in their own cultural context.
