This is my first time blogging so we'll see how this goes.
I just graduated from [redacted] University with a degree in Computer Science. I ran into Gocorps at the 2022 Urbana Conference and got reconnected with then after graduation.
Over the course of the the past four years in college, God has completely flipped my life from just floating along in life to having a heart for God’s vision for the world. As God progressively showed me the reasons he brought me to [University] and grew in me a heart to serve and share the gospel to fellow students around me, he also began to challenge the future I had always envisioned for myself. Over the course of my college years God broke down my dreams of living 'The American Dream,' of living just comfortably in America. He progressively gave me a heart for the lost, not just here but for those around the world. Last summer I was able to go to South Asia for a Business As Missions opportunity where I was able to find the intersection between my studies and heart for the nations.
From this opportunity God has continued that heart in me and I have decided to take 2 years out of graduation to explore what full-time missions could look like. I will be in Asia on a college campus outreaching to fellow University students on campus. I hope to be able to share the gospel to many of whom will have never heard it before. Beyond that, I hope to see what long-term ministry in that country could look like and potentially go there long term.
