I arrived in Berlin !!!!
On Monday 10/10 I arrived in Berlin! I had no issues or delays with any of my 3 flights and all my bags arrived on time, too, which was a MIRACLE.
My first full day in Berlin began my orientation! Most days during my first couple weeks I went to visit a different teammate in their part of the city, and they would give me a tour of their neighborhood (or Kiez as it's called in German). I've loved being able to meet my team and get to see how diverse and beautiful Berlin is! Today, I started intensive language classes that I'll continue doing for the next year.
It's been a harder transition overseas than expected, but I am so, so dankbar (grateful) to be living in such an awesome city and country!
