“Welcome to the door.”
Two years ago, my pastor gave a sermon about prayerfully waiting on the Lord. To illustrate this, he had a door that was closed and covered in sticky notes. On the sticky notes, people wrote what they were waiting for beyond the door. Matthew 7:7-8 says, “7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” In prayer, we “knocked” and waited for the Lord to answer what was written on our sticky notes.
