Happy New Year !!

 It has been a while since I last posted. Sorry about that. I have  a lot to fill you in on. My timeline  for Mexico has changed. I am now going to CIT in March and my Launch date for Mexico is in . I needed more time to continue raising support. For a brief moment I felt like a failure because I was not good enough to get 100% in 12 weeks. That is not the case. I was not going to allow my negative thinking to shape my view of what was going on. I know that is is harder for minorities to support raise. It will just take some more time and I am ok with that. I did not fail because it is not over for me.  I am now 60% funded and am looking foward to this last month of support rasing. I know that everything will work out the way God intends it to and I have to trust Him. Last month I had a meeting with someone from my college and wound up speaking on His podcast about what I will be doing in Mexico and just answer questions about my life. Check it out its really good. https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9hbmNob3IuZm0vcy9mOTBlYjc0L…;

My Trust in God has been tested these past few weeks. It was easy to trust God when everything was going the way I had it planned out. When God’s plan became different from my own  is when I questioned if really trust Him or not. Do I trust that He is in control ? Do I trust that He knows what is best for me? Do I trust that He has a plan for me? These are questions that in the past I would have blindly said yes to. Now I have to dig deep and truly know if I trust God or not. If I do then I have to live like I trust Him.  To not trust God would be foolish, a huge mistake. So I will trust Him.  I will trust the God who created the Heavens and the Earth. I will trust the God that worked in the lives of Abraham , Issac and Jacob. I will trust the God who parted the Red Sea. I will trust the God made the walls of Jericho fall. I will trust the God  who sent His only son to die for the sins of the world. He has proven that He is worthy of my trust time and time again. That is what I had to remember. That I should never put a period where God places a comma. Things are hard , but I was never promised an easy life. I was never told that everything would work out the way I want them to.  God is in control .He has a plan, I just have to trust Him.
