My God is so generous!
As I sit here, I'm entirely blown away by the generosity shown to me through my support team. I'm shocked by the selflessness, the kindness, and love that I see in them. The Lord's character is so evident right now.
I'm grateful for a community of people who want to participate in God's work in the world. I love that these friends and family are willing to trade in their material treasures for the treasure that's in heaven. The Lord is using them to make an eternal difference in the lives of others. And their first ministry is me.
They've revealed the love of the Father, as they've listened to my story and cared about my life. I've been touched by their kindness in every single meet-up, and encouraged by their faith.
My support team is such a beautiful picture of God’s care for his children. I’m learning about his gentleness in caring for my feelings, his tenderness for my heart, and His desire to join me in my passions. I think the Lord gets excited with me, just like all the people who’ve said “I’m excited for you, Isabella.”
Beyond that, I’m learning how parents always want their kids to have all that they need. This has been true of all the adults in my life. I see their desire to be sure I’ll be taken care of, and I realize that the Lord also feels the same way. He’s going to do everything in his power to make sure that his baby girl has all that she needs. I’m so encouraged and touched by this, because I know the Lord is all-powerful. Anything that He wants to make happen is going to happen.
How wild is it that what God wants to make happen is a revelation of His love?!
