Greetings, Friends!
This past month I've been in Union Mills, North Carolina attending missions training before launching to Phoenix. One of the big highlights of the training has been meeting other singles, married couples, and families who are dedicating their lives to share the gospel all over the world. It’s been an amazing privilege to hear the numerous stories of how God has led each of them to the countries and people groups they are serving. When initially looking at the community we’ve built during training, it doesn’t make sense how we’ve been able to build close friendships in such a short amount of time. However, I believe God has used our common love for Jesus and missions to connect our individual stories in a unique way. That’s just one of the cool ways God works. He connects people and intertwines their stories to make them better and stronger. It’s true that the more people you meet, your world gets smaller but your perspective of God gets bigger. I can say that’s definitely happened to me as I’ve had the honor to meet these world-changing people.
