As the end of the two year commitment that I made back in 2017 draws near, it has been heavy on my mind what God wants me to do next. Several times I have been asked how does God speak to me? I am often reminded of Hebrews 1:1-2 where the writer reminds us that God doesn’t speak to all in the same way. Growing up in a Christian family I was taught that God speaks to us through his word. This is absolutely true! However I have come to know that He still speaks to us in other ways. For example I have heard many personal stories of people being sent dreams about what they should do or events that would later happen. Visions are also used to speak to us today. I can personally say that I had an experience like this and I have shared it with many of you already. I also believe God can speak through our friends and advisors about what decisions we should make when we prayerfully consider their advice. And although you may not have the clouds open and hear a voice from Heaven saying go talk to that person or go move this country, I am sure that our Father will make it clear to each of us what he wants. We just have to ask and listen.
