Hello all!
I’d like to introduce myself to you! I am a new goer, new blogger, and about to be a new world traveler. In all honesty, I am still learning why I am on this quest for the Lord. This is just a glimpse into what I have discovered so far:
- Out of 7 billion people on this earth approximately 2 billion people have never had the chance to know Jesus and the gospel. This is called unreached and unengaged. Meaning very few people are there in these people groups who believe, and even fewer are going there.
- I am passionate about health care and caring for people’s physical needs. My view of Jesus is a healer, and I love how the Bible shows Jesus first caring for people’s physical needs to ultimately reach people spiritually.
- Jesus is my all in all. He is my rock, my shield, and my fortress. In seeking for truth, I have without a doubt discovered that Jesus is the way the truth and the light. Because of his sacrifice on the cross, my sins are washed clean and I am made new in him.
- I am frustrated there are so many people in this world who have never had the opportunity to know Jesus and the truth that the Bible brings. I have recognized that the Lord my God has called me to go into all nations proclaiming the gospel (Mark 16:15), and I have answered this call to go. I have answered this call to go by using my passions (#2) to serves Gods kingdom worldwide.
As for the here and now?
GoWeek! Yes I am learning what the next steps are for this new season of life. I am learning so much, and I am excited to put it into practice. I have absolutely enjoyed getting to know other goers here as well. We are having so much fun in encouraging each other in the word and prayer, not to mention other fun activities!
