Finally here in Chi town, but not for leisure. I’m actually here for training for missions. This is a new chapter in my life that was most definitely not in my five year plan. I had been on a linear path in becoming a high school math teacher. Throughout that journey, I got interested in serving students with special needs; mostly students with mild to moderate disabilities. Well, GUESS WHAT. God had a different plan for me. I will be going to Mexico City, Mexico to teach missionary and pastor’s kids.
This week, I have been learning a lot about support raising and asking one hundred and one questions. The poor United World Missions representative was bombarded with questions. LOl. After I get my share of Chicago deep dish pizza, I cannot wait to get back to California to reconnect with others and invite others onto my team!
