So...How long are you going to be there? Wow... Oh that is so cool!! I am so proud of you! How did you get into this? I am praying for you. How do your parents feel? These phrases come almost every time I talk to someone, telling of my coming adventure in Northeastern Asia. The encouragement is overflowing. I get a shot of excitement every time someone partners with me. However, the excitement cannot completely offset the exhaustion coming from many sources; but God is giving me the energy to catch up with all my friends and ask them to partner with me. The lesson learned for these first two weeks of support raising is God sits beside me and the people I talk to; our partnership relies solely on the will of Him. Is it not nice to know we are not in control and that He is? I am almost done with my first stop at Wheaton College and can head home to rest and start my search for partners there. =)
