A couple of weeks ago I went on a retreat with my TeachBeyond team. All eight of us headed to the city of Brno, the Czech Republics second biggest city. We spent the weekend discussing how to transition back to the States, whether it would be just for the summer or long term, and reflecting on all the Lord had done this past school year. One exercise we did was go through each month of the past year and write down the highlights from each month. After making my list I felt amazed, humbled, and grateful. I could see clearly how much God had provided for me over the past year. From raising all of my support, to giving me a great team at school, to providing me with a great church in Prague, I could plainly see God's hand. As someone who tends to worry about the future, I feel so comforted in knowing that God is in control. The time I spend reflecting on the past year helped me see how God had gone before me, each step of the way in this journey. I'm so glad to have a God who takes my life in His hands and cares enough to provide for me! Now, I can wrap up this school year, enjoy the summer, and confidently go into the next school year. God's got it!
