Talking Too Much

Posted on Thursday, July 7, 2016

As the summer has gone on the length of my appointments with support team members has seemed to be longer and longer. This was especially evident this past week.

And the reason they are getting longer and longer? ... I just won't stop talking!

Ironically after the events that occured last week my fire and passion to go and serve seems to have intensified. By nature I am not a risk taker. I always want to play it safe and only do something if it is well thought through with minimal consequences lying on the other side. Yet the peace I feel about where I am going has grown. This peace has really shown me that this is not my idea to go, but it is truly God's call. Four years ago as a high school graduate and even last year as a college senior I would never have imagined this to be the place the Lord would call me to and these to be the people He would call me to minister to.

Yet the stories I've heard about how the gospel is spreading in this area of the world gives me goose bumps! The people I will be encountering, learning from and serving inch closer and closer to the center of my heart each day. The longer the support raising process has gone on the more I have to say and the more excited I get about what God is doing in this area of the world as I continue to be resonate with Isaiah's words "Here I am, send me."

Please continue to pray for fruitful ministry, pray that protection and courage would be give to the Christians in this city and pray that each day more and more hearts would be softened in order to receive the gospel!

Thank you for walking this journey with me. I feel so blessed by the support team God has given me thus far.  Your generosity inspires me. Your encouragements challenge me to be courageous and your faithfulness increases my faith everyday! Support team we are 70% of the way there in monthly gifts and 25% of the way there in one time gifts! I am eager to see the fruit credited to you produced through your gifts as God's kingdom continues to expand in some of the most unreached ares of the world!

Philippians 4:17 "Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit"
