This past month I was able to travel to London for the wedding of a close childhood friend and I could not have been more blessed. I spent the week before the wedding with him and his family speaking Spanish and English and enjoying not only the ease of communication I had with the people around me but the abundance of greenery and blackberries (ripe and free for the picking). The biggest news might be just that but it gets better. After spending approximately half the week with my friend and half with his younger sister I'm happy to share that she and I are now dating. I do ask that you would keep us in your prayers as we get to know each other more and seek God in our relationship.
Upon arriving back home with the novelty of a girlfriend I also come to find out that the beginning of a new language phase has taken place and I now need to find new language tutors to work one on one with. The other two interns lucked out and got fist picks for A and S (our old tutors). Anyhow I'm now doing language with M and looking still for a second tutor. Along with this as we come up on the year mark it's time to plan for what project we want to undertake in our second year as interns. Pure adventure. I'm still not sure which direction I'll go but I'm currently planning on continuing my language studies, continuing the development of my prayer life and starting some sort of B.bl. study. I'll keep you posted as we move forward.
