Your perspective really shifts as you realize that your whole life can fit into just a few bags--or at least mine does.
Last week I moved again to a new part of the city. Just another step in the house hunt. Just another stage of settling in.
As I packed up my things this time I realized really how temporary this world is. I will never fully be satisfied or find a home here. Ultimately, my home is in God and no matter how things shift in this life--no matter how many times I move--Jesus is the constant. He is my home.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where theives do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. --Matthew 6:20-21
