Life is not easy. Support raising is tuff. But this is where the Lord has called me. For about a little over a month of this summer campaign, I have felt almost every emotion possible. I have been super glad and excited, nervous and scared, doubtful and questioning, sad and discouraged. I have met with people who have wanted to jump on board and be a part of my ministry in Berlin and I have people who have left me hangin. I thought it would be easier than it is, but it's really hard. It's hard to put yourself out there, it's hard getting rejected, its hard balancing everything all at once. I have wanted to give up at different times, but it wasn't until today that I got such an energy to keep going from the Lord.
I asked the Lord if He ever did anything that He didn't want to do because it was really hard. The Lord then reminded me of when Jesus was talking to the Father before going to the cross. Jesus literally fell on his face and told God "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless, not as I will but as you will." This really encouraged me so much because even though what Jesus did was the hardest thing anyone has ever done, it brought so much glory to the Lord. It was so hard, but He overcame sin and death. I'm so grateful that the Lord has been where I have been and knows what I'm going through. He suffered so much, but through His suffering came great joy. I pray that the Lord would continue to give me strength and endurance to continue in what He has called me to!
