I have been in Malawi for almost three weeks now and I think I have been welcomed properly! From the heat to African time, it has been interesting, and I love it. There has been a lot of firsts for me, for the first time ever, I am in Africa, I paid rent for my first apartment, ate my first Malawian food, drove for the first time on the other side of the rode, saw my first elephant in the wild, for the first time waited for over 5 hours to get a signature and stamp that does not need to take that long, and for the first time have lizards on the walls in the house. My life has changed dramatically over the last few weeks and I am so glad I can take comfort in a God who never changes. I am excited to see what He has in store.
