Often, I am unaware of just how much God is doing in my life and how much He is present (I know He is always with me, but I’m talking making Himself visibly seen). In the last several months God has been opening my eyes to realities about myself that I’ve never wanted to deal with before. He’s been putting them directly in front of me and saying, “It’s time, we’re going to deal with this now.”
At the start of this journey, I was scared, often I still am. It’s not a fun process to look into your life and take note of the ways you’re broken or have made mistakes. However, it’s with awareness that you and God can start to work towards change together.
So what do I mean by God has been making Himself visible to me? Well, one of the things I love about God is He speaks to us exactly as we can hear Him. For me recently, that’s been through Instagram posts (as well as other mediums). No, I’m not following God’s account and He’s not making shout outs directly to me, but He is using the accounts I follow to keep teaching me lessons that He’s already started to teach me. It has been so cool to learn something new or start processing something and then within the next couple days have that same idea or lesson pop up as an Instagram post. This makes me feel seen, known, and loved by God, which encourages me to keep working towards change.
It's just the start of this process toward healing and redemption, and it will be exciting to see where the journey leads.
