Well, I am now on my third week of teaching! Thank you all for keeping me in mind. I got a new children's class and they are angels compared to the other class. In fact, I have to lock my classroom door because the students I previously had roam the halls during class time and peek in through the door. My other classes are going pretty well. I am still getting the hang of making lessons fun while also having the students learn. It is a skill to balance the two.

I have been slowly adjusting to this culture. I like it here very much. I love the people, I love the food, and the weather isn't too bad. I am still trying to get used to riding a motorbike. I like riding second but driving still scares me. I know my address now and I have been able to walk around by myself. I even have a little store that I like to go to to buy food. My friend Hannah took me there and the lady remembers me so she gives me good prices. I am still trying to figure out why the Father brought me here, which relationships I should pursue, and how I can best serve my students. I feel like I have been here forever, but it has only been about a month! Wonder what will happen next :D

Some funny stories:

Went to the hospital...really long and strange experience. Let's just say they ended up taking my blood from the side of my wrist because they couldn't find my veins anywhere else.

Went to the store the other day and a young man selling blenders yelled, "Hello!" at me. So I said "Hello" back. Then he said, "I love you" and winked at me. I just stared at him and made a "Whaa?" sound. Completely and utterly shocked. I now avoid all blender stands.

My motorbike helmet strap broke, so my teammate was trying to drive us home carefully. We get to our parking garage and there is an uphill speed bump. She went over it slow, bad idea! We almost beefed it right in front of the security guard. He was laughing at us so hard. I think he told the others because they all smile at us and chuckle now.
