Galatians 6:2

Posted on Wednesday, March 26, 2014

So this has been a pretty interesting month.  My wife has been gone and that has been pretty hard on me.  At the same time, God has been showing his love through some relationships he’s sent to me.  There is a Turk here named Oğuz (pronounced Oh-ooz) who is a baptized Christian now after having a dream about Jesus and coming in contact with an American Football coach/friend.  Oğuz is a very interesting person and is different from most Turks, mainly because of his openness and the way he goes about relationships.  Well Oğuz has been very intentional about practicing what he’s learned at church, basically: be there for your brothers and sisters in Christ. Well not only has he done MMA training and took me to Popeyes, but we experienced something very interesting when he visited my church.  A pentecostal team came from the states and went up to the front at the end of service.  Someone prophecized about someone there who had pain in the neck and leg.  Well that prophecy was about Oğuz.  I could testify to the pain because he told me about it.  Well we both went up to the front and I asked the one who prophecized if I could place hands on him and pray from him too.  What he actually did was have me place only my hands and him and just repeat what he said.  After 2 tries...he actually had no pain and could completely turn his neck to one side and the other.  This never happened before and was pretty amazing.  I also have been personally training a player named Veli and God opened a HUGE door for me to give him a Bible, which he accepted and said he’d read.  These things have been huge blessings!  God is teaching me new things about relationships.  Although I love my wife and she is my best friend, I can experience great fellowship through others!
