God doesn’t waste anything, especially an opportunity. A Good Reminder
Whenever we reach the 15th of the month, I am always aware that the month is now closer to being over than beginning. January, like those before it, has gone by quickly. Three and a half months I have now lived in this country. The middle of the month also reminds me that I should blog. Unexpected Presence
Before embarking on this journey, I had many expectations and assumptions regardless of the fact that I was trying my best to keep from forming them. One of these preconceived ideas related to the presence (or lack thereof) of established churches I would encounter. My pre-travel research informed me that the area I am currently residing in is the highest in unreached, unengaged people groups worldwide. The best studies also report that the percentage of Evangelical Christians present is less than 2%. The Final Move
After a month and a half the five of us girls are finally together in our flat. Today consisted of unpacking, rearranging, and situating ourselves in order to let our roots begin to grow. It’s all a bit surreal still, especially having a “permanent” address here. This is our fourth and (hopefully) final move since arriving in October.
