A very special gathering for students and collegiate staff and leaders!
This is a gathering unlike any you've ever been a part of! Gather with students and ike-minded leaders in the missions and collegiate landscape to be refreshed and re-envisioned towards the work of student mobilization in our generation.
We’ll visit historic sites of the first student missions societies and movements, and the birth of foreign missions in our country. Further, we'll visit the site of the birth of the 1886 Student Volunteer Movement! We’ll learn stories of God’s faithfulness through college students. And we’ll worship, pray, and strategize together for a new student volunteer movement in our time!
Missions History Sites We’ll Visit
Tabernacle Church
We'll visit where the first student missionaries were commissioned in 1812!
Salem
We’ll do a walking tour of this coastal town and the port where the first missionaries set sail!
Mt Hermon
This is where the Student Volunteer Movement was birthed in 1886. We'll visit a few locations in this area that defined missions in that era!
In each of these locations, we'll learn history and stories. Then we'll pray and listen. Finally we'll discuss and dream what God might be doing in our generation! Can you think of a better way to spend a few days this Summer?!
