GoCorps Orientation Week - or GoWeek as we like to call it - is the first step in your journey to launching into your cross cultural placement with GoCorps!
GoCorps staff, Goers, and sending partners will gather together for a week of relationship building, equipping, and preparing. Get ready to grow spiritually, develop professionally, and build life long friendships with other young adults from all over the nation who are stepping into the same season as you.
Objectives
Professional Training - Learn how to build a team of prayer and financial partners that will support you over the next two years. You’ll receive world class instruction from our team of teachers, hands-on practical experience, and specially curated resources to take with you into your support raising campaign.
Team Building - Meet with your sending partner and learn the ins and outs of your new organization, and dive deeper with a small cohort of other Goers who will walk alongside the fundraising season together.
Prayer and Worship - Grow in your relationship with Christ as we practice different spiritual disciplines and connect with God and one another.
Logistics
Check-In: 12-4:30pm CT on Monday, Sept 7th
Arrival/Departure Details: If you are flying, book your ticket into the Minneapolis Airport (MSP). Your flight can arrive anytime before 3:00pm on Monday, Sept 7th and can depart anytime after 8:00am on Saturday, Sept 12th. Once you have booked your flight, email the flight confirmation to our Director of Operations, Mike, at [email protected].
Camp Victory is about an hour drive from the airport. We will provide transportation to and from the airport on arrival day and departure day. All transportation runs will be before 10am on departure day, so we recommend booking an earlier flight that day, or you will spend a lot of time at the airport.
**Please wear your "Exalted Among the Nations" GoCorps shirt you received in the Welcome Package to make airport pick-ups easier (and more fun)!
If you are driving, please arrive at Camp Victory, 58212 403rd Ave, Zumbro Falls, MN 55991, by 4:30pm on Monday, Sept 7th. You will need to leave by 10am on Saturday, Sept 12th. There will be ample space to park your car (for free) during the week.

Packing List:
- Bedding for twin bed (sleeping bag and/or sheets/blanket & pillow)
- Towel
- Toiletries (don’t forget sunscreen!)
- Laptop or Tablet with WiFi access
- Laptop Charger
- Casual clothes (there is no dress code for the week, dress however you are comfortable)
- Sweatshirt or jacket (evenings in Minnesota can be cold)
- T-shirt or sweatshirt with name of your university (for a group picture)
- Clothes/shoes for active team building exercises such as frisbee
- Swimsuit (for optional lake time during free time)
- Bible
- Notebook or Journal for note-taking
- Pen
- Flashlight/headlamp
- Leave a little room in your suitcase to return home with a few training/presentation booklets, t-shirt, and hat
Registration Payment Information: Your spot at GoWeek will be reserved when you fill out the GoWeek Registration Form and submit your deposit of $150 either through PayPal or by check (payable to GoCorps and sent to PO Box 22187, Minneapolis, MN 55422). The remaining balance of your registration - $800 - will be paid by your sending organization to be eventually covered by the start-up funds that you are raising. Your registration includes all food, transportation to/from the airport, lodging, and training materials.

NOTE: If you’d like to be reimbursed out of your support account at the end of the summer when you have your full support in, please save and submit your receipts for your flight and GoWeek registration to the GoCorps Sending Partner that you will be serving with.
