In 2020, Temple Bible Church (Temple, TX) brought Walk Week to the University of Mary Hardin Baylor for 2 nights of pizza, prayer and prayer walking for the unreached. Global Outreach pastor Brandon Brewer saw this as a great way to engage the 50+ students in their college ministry with God’s heart for the unreached. “We knew that pizza would help students show up. Fueled by pepperoni and mushroom, students watched videos of young adults just a few years older than they and learned first hand what it looks like to live and serve in another country. It broke old missionary paradigms! And then in groups of 3 or 4, they walked out onto the campus and prayed for God to raise up more Goers and to open up the hearts to the gospel of college students among the unreached. We were so excited when even more students showed up the next day!”
