Job Title:      Alumni Mobilizer and Mission Coach

Description:

Tell your story and the stories of what God is doing globally as you recruit and coach students and young adults to use their degree and live on mission for two years through GoCorps.  As a mobilizer and mission coach, you’ll develop and maintain campus partnerships by working with local collegiate and ministry leaders to recruit for GoCorps placements.  You’ll be an advocate and resource for mid-term missions and the least reached on campuses and in churches and ministries.  And you’ll coach interested 20-somethings through the process of exploration, application, assessment and sending.

As a GoCorps alum, you are uniquely able to speak into the lives of students.  Your experience as a Goer will be an integral part of your work on staff with GoCorps!

Duties Overview:

1. Campus visits to partnering campuses/churches/ministries
2. Participate in campus recruitment tours with partnering ministries
3. Networking to bring on new partnering campuses and churches
4. Other: Event planning and coordination, admin

Coaching Duties

1. Coach young adults through the application process through phone calls, emails, Zoom calls, etc.
2. Oversee coaching communication to an ongoing group of interested young adults and keep current in communication with them through our Salesforce coaching setup.
3. Coach and encourage GoCorps Advocates through emails and phone calls and during campus visits

Mobilization Duties

1. Pioneer new relationships with campuses, ministries and other organizations toward the goal of enlisting more students to use their unique talents and gifts through GoCorps placements
2. Ongoing emailing, Facebooking and calls with various ministry partners and colleagues.
3. Visit partnering campuses to help campus staff and faculty promote and incorporate a call to mid-term missions in their classes and in their ministries.
4. Network with new campuses to invite them to be GoCorps campus partners.

General Staff Duties

1. Attend key GoCorps events including:
   1. GoWeeks – The week after Memorial Day one week after Labor day
   2. Staff Retreat and Training – First week of January
   3. Urbana and other conferences/gatherings
2. Participate in:
   1. Weekly phone call with supervisor.
   2. Weekly conference call with GoCorps staff
   3. Weekly staff prayer
3. Speak at GoCorps fundraising events.

Location:   Move to one of our GoCorps staff hubs (Minneapolis or Central Texas) or be based virtually.

Time Commitment:   A time commitment of two years is preferred, but a one year role is an option.
