Summary/Description:
Be a part of building a national initiative to simplify the entry ramp and streamline the process in order to see hundreds of young adults engage in mid-term missions among the least reached! The primary responsibility of the Advancement Admin is to assist the GoCorps director and mobilization team in scheduling fundraising and recruitment visits and serving GoCorps campus and church partners through email and phone communication and resourcing them as needed.
Reports to: Executive Director and Director of Mobilization
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling meetings for Executive Director’s fundraising and partnership meetings
- Communicating with a portfolio of donors to keep them informed and show appreciation
- Scheduling campus visits at Christian colleges and campus fellowships
- Interfacing with career services departments and posting GoCorps opportunities.
- Emailing and calling student and staff reps re: recruitment on their campuses.
- Mailings and email campaigns
- Various research projects.
Amount of Time Required: 6-12 hours/week
Length of Minimum Commitment: 1 year
Pay Range: $16-18/hr
Location: Home office.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and phone communication
- Strong administrative abilities
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- A thorough understanding and commitment to the GoCorps message, values, & vision
- Self-starter and self-motivated
- Disciplined and faithful in timely responses to emails or other communication
- Sensitive to dynamics of working in unity across denominations and organizations
- Able to motivate others with vision
- Mature and growing personal prayer and devotional life
- Passion for sharing God’s heart for the nations and His desire to use young adults
- Backgound in SalesForce helpful
