Mexico City is the largest city in Latin America, with approximately 21.2 million people in the entire metropolitan area. Accordingly, Mexico City is an important and strategic location for ministry outreach and church planting. There are several church plants in our network who are lacking Worship leader for their services. The Goer would work both under local church leadership and with the Avance team to oversee and coordinate times of worship with both environments. This individual will also assume responsibility for building up others in areas of discipleship and their musical talents (creating and managing worship teams).
This Goer would also help coordinate prayer retreats, special concerts of prayer, and other opportunities for others to connect with the Lord through worship. They will also live with a Mexican family and work with a local Mexican church. Trainings outside of ministry will occur every week where our Goers take Spanish classes, participate in workshops with their cohort, and learn practical ministry tools to better equip them for their ministry settings.
