Serbian people are amazing! They are incredibly relational, loving, passionate, hospitable and will give anything and everything for their family and friends!
More than 80% of the country claims to be Serbian Orthodox, which for most is more tied to national identity than a thriving, growing walk with Jesus as Lord and Savior. With less than 2% evangelical followers of Jesus and so few Christian workers in the country, we see so much need and are not forced into a “box” where all team members fit into existing programs. Our desire and goal is to evangelize and disciple with each team member using his or her God-given gifts!
Do you love sports? Join an existing sports ministry we have or start a new one! Are you gifted in music? Maybe you could start a worship night with believers or a musical outreach for not-yet-believers. Are you a native English speaker? Start an English club or teach an English course as a way of meeting students and developing relationships with them. Whatever gifts God has given you, we want to prayerfully consider together with you how to use this for His Kingdom!
We are praying that God will send a team of like-minded, self-starting servants with a heart to work with college and high school students to join our team!
Team members receive vision, direction, and encouragement from the rest of the team and team leadership, but we are praying for self-starters with a passion for evangelism and discipleship. We need people who can understand the vision and find ways to use their God-given gifts to serve, build relationships, reach out, and evangelize without waiting to be told every step to take.
