Goers in this position will collaborate with national colleagues in a learning exchange of professional skills; will teach medical English to colleagues in hospital setting; and will make rounds in patient care to improve health and safety. Medical professionals also may engage in teaching English at a University level (teaching English in specialized academic disciplines, i.e., sciences, medical, nursing, etc.).
Professionally trained Nurse/Physical Therapist/Respiratory Therapist/NICU nurse/Neonatologist/other medical specialist. Graduates with experience are preferred, but recent graduates are welcomed and mentored as they gain experience. The organization will arrange for added specialized English training toward certification.
