Disciplemaker

Do you love leading Bible studies, either one-on-one or in a group setting? Does helping a person grow spiritually excite you? Then this position might be just for you!

In Uganda, they say that the Gospel is a mile wide but only an inch deep. People here have been misled and exploited by false teachers and simply from a lack of solid Bible knowledge. When this ministry began, in a pastors Bible Training, we asked the pastors if they have read through the entire New Testament and only 1 said “yes.” This is shocking news and should be of great concern for the church at large. But it’s true and in fact 9 out of 10 pastors in the world lack good Bible training! Ugandan church leaders and members are starved for good Bible teaching and lack the ability to read the Bible for themselves as their reading comprehension levels are too low. In addition to the literacy problem, they are never taught how to read the Bible and understand for it themselves. Ugandans are hungry for the Word of God and our Bible Studies are always in high demand and well attended. It would be true to say that the Harvest is ready, but the Workers are few!

We currently have Bible studies for youth, teen girls, young adults, church leaders, pastors and soon we will minister to children. The possibilities are endless! There is a huge need for those who have a strong foundation in the Gospel and a love for the lost and their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Sincere Goers who are looking for an opportunity to make a difference and an impact for the Kingdom need to look no further; you are needed in Uganda! Married couples are also encouraged to apply as there is a strong need for couples’ ministry as well! If you have dreamed of becoming a missionary and the possibility of serving God in this way excites you, plus you are energetic, self-motivated, and you love people; then please apply!

If this is you, then you would be living in a rural location near the New Life Ministry Center. New Goers can also expect to be mentored and guided as they enter into full time ministry by the other missionaries on the team. Come and join this growing ministry and see what God is up to in Uganda! Experience in leading Bible Studies required. Background or training in Bible, teaching/education or similar is highly desired!
