Lyss' Theology of Celebration

By on Track: Ministry Region: Europe

If you know me, you know I like to celebrate. Celebrate the little wins like perfectly cooked steak or the big wins like getting approved for a visa. I do not discriminate—all wins are welcome. At it’s core, a theology of celebration views rejoicing as an integral part of the faith, rooted in God’s nature and work. Scripture shows God as the source of joy, with celebrations like Old Testament feasts and Jesus’ miracles affirming that rejoicing glorifies Him. All the Feels

By on Track: Ministry Region: Europe

Every lecture I sat in and every email I sent has gotten me one step closer to my March departure. Sometimes I meditate on my departure for so long that I neglect to lift up this new fundraising season in prayer too. What I have realized is that this phase I am entering can feel like an in-between at times. And "in-betweens" are everywhere! They are the traffic on the way home, the… Read more >>
