Our Commitment to Partnering Campuses

GoCorps exists to serve campus, church and ministry leaders by providing a simplified on-ramp and a streamlined process for graduating seniors to serve overseas in mid-term missions (2 years) among the least reached and the global poor.

GoCorps commitment to our partnering campuses/churches/ministries:

  1. Continue to improve and develop the best processes that will help to overcome the primary barriers to involvement in mid-term missions.
  2. Find the best teams and team leaders among the least reached that are committed to the discipleship and development of the students placed on their teams.
  3. Equip Campus Reps with training and materials they need to recruit their fellow students to mid-term missions.
  4. Keep partnering campus leaders informed throughout the process of the status of students and young adults who apply to volunteer with GoCorps.
  5. Provide resources and information that will help campus leaders to effectively disciple their students toward a life of missional living.

We are looking for campus and ministry leaders who share the vision to see a growing percentage of every graduating class serve for two years globally among the poor and least reached when they graduate.  Here's what it takes to make mid-term missions more a part of the culture of your campus and ministry:

  • Pray regularly for God to raise up mid-term missions volunteers from their campus.
  • Appoint a GoCorps 'Campus Rep’ (could be a student or staff) to lead the efforts in publicizing mid-term missions in their ministry.
  • Throughout the entire school year creatively incorporate a call and a challenge for graduating seniors to serve two years among the least reached after graduation.
  • Do their best to serve as senders for those students and young adults who answer and pursue the call to go for two years after graduation.
